Traditional antique upholstery is a particular skill that cannot be entrusted to anybody.
At Kellico-Interiors you can be confident your furniture is in safe hands. Mark Kelly completed a two year CGLI Advanced Upholstery course at Manchester College and a full three year traditional apprenticeship undertaken in Tring, Hertfordshire working for Angela Burgin a renowned traditional upholstery company in the workshops of John Bly of Antique Roadshow fame. After his apprenticeship Mark returned to Stockport and established Kellico-Interiors. Over the years there has not been a piece of furniture Mark has not tackled from drop arm sofas, Georgian wing chairs, deep buttoned Chesterfields or Victorian iron backed chaise lounge.
We also stock a variety of original period pieces of furniture awaiting restoration in the fabric (or leather) of your choice. This stock is ever-changing as the pieces are sold to those discerning enough to visualise their potential.
